Our Learning in Difficult Times site is a collaboration of faculty, staff, and students aimed at increasing awareness around issues and identities at risk, both historically and in the present. The site was suggested during a faculty teach-in at John Jay College of Criminal Justice following the 2016 Presidential election, and through the efforts and vision of the John Jay Teaching and Learning Center Director and staff, the site has been designed and maintained over the past three years. Ongoing suggestions and contributions from the John Jay community and external agencies have continued to enrich and improve our resources.
We recommend using the site as a resource for self-education, self-care, and sharing knowledge and practices with others. Please feel free to contribute links and other electronic resources by commenting on the Contact Us page.
